What to do if you have had an automobile accident
The first thing to do is make sure everyone is OK. Seek medical care if necessary.
You should call us as soon as possible to let us know what has happened. We are here to help you.
You need to obtain the names of all parties involved along with any witnesses. If the police responded, many times they will provide this information to you.
You, or the operator, will need to complete an Operator's Report. This can be obtained from any local police station or from the Mass RMV. You will also need to report it directly to your insurance company. They now request that you report it directly to them so they can immediately assign an adjuster to see your car.
